Sandy Strangis (she/her) attended The University of Arizona School of Dance graduating with a BFA in Dance in 2020. At the University, she performed in works such as Larry Keigwin's Megalopolis, and Martha Graham's Panorama with the Martha Graham Dance Co. While attending the University, she was a part of local contemporary dance company, Hawkins Dance Company 2018-2020. To further her training she attended Orsolina 28 Forsythe/Pite Intensive 2018, Ate9 Winter Intensive 2019, and was a Virtual Apprentice with Parsons Dance Company 2020-2021. She moved to Los Angeles in 2021 and began dancing p ... rofessionally. She was a company member with Mashup Contemporary Dance Company from 2021-2023. In December 2022, she performed as a Guest Artist with LA Contemporary Dance Company in And Then Life Was Beautiful created by Jamila Glass. In July 2023, she performed at The Odyssey Theatre in a new work by Aleks Perez's called Side By Side. Also in July 2023, she performed as a dancer and singer at Introducing Us! SGLA Team Show at Stomping Ground LA. In 2023 she began singing as an Alto in an A capella group with PHNX Wing Entertainment. Also in 2023 she performed in a "this is for you" by Sara Silkin. A dance theatre show where she was the lead dancer/singer.
