We take pride in the variety of our material and our musicianship (our drummer is a former touring professional, our guitarist won battle of the corporate bands and our vocalist/percussionist has played the PNE with the Powder Blues. Biography

The core members of the band have been gigging as one of BC's top cover bands "Posing Til Closing" for 16 years. In 2023 we launched "STICKY FINGERS - Rolling Stones Tribute" to sell-out shows in Vancouver, the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.
Stuart Turnbull is “Mick”:
Born and raised in London England, Stuart is the quintessential front-man, delivering Mick Jagger’s personality, energy and charisma to every performance. Also doubling on Congas to bring that extra Stones vibe. Career highlights include playing with the Juno award-winning Powder Blues Band at the 2002 PNE.

Brian Meadows is “Keith”:
Master guitarist Brian expertly recreates the Stone’s rich sound and Keith Richards’ iconic licks. Brian is a former winner of the Battle of the Corporate Bands and also stars as “Jimmy Page” with popular Led Zeppelin Tribute band: “The Ocean”.
Mike Russell is "Chuck Lavell" and "Bobby Keys"
A seasoned touring pro, Mike is best known for his long time association as keyboardist for Nick Gilder and Sweeney Todd ("Roxy Roller", "Hot Child in the City", etc). He also doubles on Saxophone.
Allan Nakatsu is “Bill”:
Working with Brian and Stuart for over 15 years, Al delivers Bill Wyman’s style and rock-solid foundation, anchoring the bands authentic Rolling Stones sound.
Matt Pavan is “Charlie”:

Experience

We've been playing as a band since 2008. During this time we've played to audiences from 50 - 3,000 in all manner of venues around Vancouver's Lower Mainland, up the coast and on Vancouver Island... from backyard parties and intimate pub settings to hotels, nightclubs and large amphitheaters such as Stanley Park and the Langley Bowl.

Previous Clients

Between our Rolling Stones Tribute and our Party Band we appeal to all ages. If you like great music, dancing and an engaging performance then you fit the description of our typical client! We've played large corporate events and charity fundraisers, intimate backyard parties, birthdays, anniversary's, grand openings... you name it, we've probably performed it!
Above all, we're most proud that between 80-90% of our gigs are repeat bookings and referrals.

Meet the Act

Stuart Turnbull - Vocals, Keyboard and Percussion
Stuart started drumming at age 9 and was performing by age 12. Career highlights include playing with the Juno award winning Powder Blues Band at the 2002 PNE, opening for the Great Big Sea and winning the Corporate Battle of the Bands as a member of the TELUS WebTones. Stuart is a natural and engaging front-man. He also plays Roland RD88 Keyboard, Gon-Bop Signature Congas, LP Timbales, LP Bongos and Zildjan cymbals.
Brian Meadows - Quite a few very nice electric, acoustic and Spanish guitars.
Brian co-founded PTC with Stuart in 2 ... 008 - both having played in the TELUS WebTones for 5 years prior - he recruited Allan who had played with him in previous musical projects. When he's not playing with PTC you'll find Brian lighting up the stage with the popular Led Zeppelin Tribute band "The Ocean". Brian plays Fender, Gibson and Martin guitars with Fender Amps.
Allan Nakatsu - Bass Guitar
Rock solid on bass, Allan has been with the band since it was formed in 2008 - and hasn't looked back since!
Matt Pavan - Drums & Vocals
A former touring pro, and now one of Vancouver's most sought after drummers, Matt is as entertaining to watch as he is technically gifted. At last count Matt owns no less than eight professional and vintage drum kits (despite his wife's protests!), including Ayotte, Yamaha and Ludwig, with Zildjian and Sabian Cymbals.
