Starlene Bey is a passionate Soulful Song Stylist, who delivers deep emotion in every song. She sings the kind of music that touches the heart, like Anita Baker, Phyllis Hyman and Gladys Knight. Starlene exudes classy sensuality on stage and engages audiences with her lighthearted personality entertaining story-telling, and powerhouse vocals. This Recording Artist has released several songs and is currently working on another album. Norman Connors produced Starlene’s “Classy and Soulful” EP and her New Release “Feelin’ Blah’Zey” ... was produced by Johnnie Croom. This has earned her an array of concerts dates, interviews and publicity in both the UK and the US. Ms. Bey has an eclectic repertoire of heartfelt Jazz, Blues and RnB Classics and Originals. Starlene works with Talented Experienced Musicians on stage & the studio. She’s performed with Mr. Tony TNT Jones, Bill Jolly, Alfie Pollitt, Gerald Veasley, Byard Lancaster, Patience Higgins & John Di Martinez on Recording Projects and Live Events. One of Starlene’s finest moments was singing a Tribute to the late Grammy Recipient Blues Artist Mr. Frank Bey at the Berks Jazz Festival. Starlene was invited by Grammy Nominated Headliner, Blues Man Kenny Neal. Ms. Bey is currently working on a New Project with Mr. Neal due to Release in 2023. This Lady of Soul is truly dedicated to her craft. Starlene Bey is also known as The Empress of the Blues because of her witty engaging and Sassy Entertaining Style. Coming from a musical family legacy and classical background, Ms. Bey loves all genres of music. Starlene’s musical expressions create a uniquely dynamic imprint to every live Show. Ms. Janet came up to tell me how my songs made her feel. She shared a story of a concert she saw with the legendary Nina Simone. It was wonderful to hear that she thought I brought the same kind of passion and entertaining engagement. What a Beautiful Blessing to be compared to Nina Simone. Fun & a little Sassy she said. That's the reason I love doing what I do.

My Mardi Gras Event at Wilson's was Sold Out! The TriState and New York was in the building. We decorated the tables in sparkling Mardi Gras colors with unique mask inspired center pieces. Everyone had to wear masks and they were dressed up to match the theme. I planned a Louisiana Blues Inspired setlist. Well the show went great and I got to sing to a packed house. When the owner comes to you having a fantastic time and pays you more than you were contracted you know it's a Great Night. Mame echoed the sentiment I hears from many, " It was so fun," You are so Sassy, up there strutting your stuff, dancing and rocking the stage, girl we had a blast! She then booked me to do my same Event nd Show this October 27th 2023. It is so cool to get to share the different sides of me through my music. More than that to see people enjoying themselves, makes me have a Fantastic time too.

on my return from London, Norman Connors asked me to perform at the Clef Club for his UnSung Life Legacy Story. He complimented my look and style and how I was always so pleasant and kind to everyone. He said I see how hard you work and your a pro out there, but your disposition will take you even further. Mr. Connors is a man of few words so to hear that from him about my look personality and work ethic meant so much to me! I was so pleased to be chosen by him nd to Record with him also. He's put me in position to work with many great Musicians. I have learned from the best, which has taught me to adapt well. I can sing with any band anywhere and sound like we've rehearsed for years.
