Description

The award winning Western Flyers play a wide variety of roots flavored music as a duo, trio or four piece band. They specialize in Western swing (the Official State Music of Texas!), classic country, honky tonk, jazz & swing classics and fiery toe tapping fiddle tunes. Music can be tailored to a specific genre and the best for the event - more jazz & swing or more country flavored etc. Comfortable on stages large and small, band members are US State Department Cultural Exchange Alumni and virtuosos on their respective instruments. We hired the Flyers to play our annual swing dance festival in Houston, TX. A great fit, they played a wide variety of music for our freestyle dance and also for the Lindy Hop, Balboa, Collegiate Shag judged portion of the weekend. Everyone loved the music! We'll hire them again!

From the moment I heard them on-line, I knew they were the best fit for my client event. Their sound is toe-tapping good and makes for a lively night.They were easy to contact and answered all of my questions on a timely manner. They traveled from north Texas to San Antonio and were early for set-up. They arranged for a local sound person and saved me the hassle. Our event was held at the San Antonio Zoo and Zoo staff requested their information for future possibilities. Besides professional, and incredibly accommodating, they're downright nice and talented. The clients LOVED them too. After dinner, no-one moved, they just sat and enjoyed. Thanks Western Flyers!
