Popularly known to the general public as one-third of Beyonce’s background singers “The Mamas”, Tiffany Moníque is a solo recording artist, singer, and songwriter who has been the lead background vocalist for Beyonce for over 15 years.

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Tiffany moved to Newark, New Jersey as a young child. Immediately, Tiffany became actively involved in church and was a director in the church’s music ministry by high school. In addition to her gospel roots, Tiffany found joy listening to seasoned soul singers on the radio, including Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway, Whitney Houston, Vesta, and Chaka Khan. In 1995, Tiffany was awarded a music scholarship to Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. During this period, she joined a local girl group "On Point". The group was featured with MCA recording artists K-Ci & Jo-Jo on the remix version of "Fee Fie Foe Fum” from their 1999 album release “It's Real", but later disbanded due to internal management conflicts. Tiffany’s sights shifted to a solo career after returning home and graduating from William Paterson University in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Journalism. Tiffany began her professional music career as a background vocalist for artists including Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Loggins, and more. In March 2007, she received a phone call from Beyonce’s creative director, Kim Burse, offering her the opportunity to sing background for an upcoming tour. With Beyonce, Tiffany has traveled on seven world tours - "The Beyonce Experience" (2007), "I Am…Tour" (2009), “4" promotional tour (2011), the “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour (2013), "On The Run" (2014), "Formation World Tour" (2016) and "On The Run II Tour" (2018). She has also participated in almost every major performance with Beyoncé as her Lead Background Vocalist / Assistant Vocal Arranger. A list of performances includes The Grammy, American Music Awards, Video Music Awards, Brit Awards, Glastonbury, Super Bowl 50, The White House, Coachella 2018, and many more.
Since working with Beyoncé, Tiffany has added an impressive list of artists to her roster ad a lead/background vocalist including Sting, Pharell, The Roots, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Jill Scott, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Hudson, Shirley Ceasar, Brandy, Jessie J, Nick Jonas, Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Patrick Droney, Anderson Paak and many more.
In August 2013, Tiffany was featured in New Jersey Monthly’s article “The Great Unknowns” (by Tammy La Gorce) highlighting her experience and accomplishments as a background vocalist. She was also interviewed and credited for her contributions to the Oscar-award-winning movie, "Twenty Feet From Stardom", which chronicles the backstories of the music industry's most prominent background vocalists - past and present - in the music industry.
