Description

As a pianist , I am very versatile. I can play anything from jazz standards, pop hits, show tunes or even classical improvisations, taking requests as I go.
If there is a piano available, that is great! If not, I'm always happy to bring my keyboard - all I need is a power source! I am able to supply an amp if there is no sound system available.

Biography

I am passionate about making and sharing music: writing, arranging, teaching and performing. I am keen to encourage and enable others to share this excitement.
I am based in South East London and have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music First Class Honours degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire where I studied Jazz Piano as a recipient of the Trinity College London Scholarship. I also play a variety of other instruments including trumpet, drums and guitar. In April 2023 I released an EP of my songwriting entitled 'First Step', on which I sing and play guitar and piano.

Tom was perfect! Very polite and professional. He played beautiful jazz music as the guests arrived and while we were eating. I would recommend him to anyone looking to create an atmosphere with some gentle, sophisticated background music.

What a lovely duo. Tom and Rebecka performed at my Dad's wake and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. It was so uplifting to hear their music and they played some of his favorite songs which was very special.

Tom is a delightful young man who is very personable with both adults and children. He has worked with a number of children in my class, teaching both on a one to one basis ( piano and guitar) and with groups of children learning the recorder. He is enthisiastic and knowledgeable and is able to play in a wide range of styles . He quickly engages the interest of pupils and helps them to fulfil their potential. It has been a pleasure to work with him.
