Biography

Victoria has appeared as a soloist in numerous concerts and on TV, radio and recordings and frequently collaborates with composers on new music. Victoria has collaborated with German-born, L.A. area composer and pianist, Jo Blankenburg, whose work is often featured in film and A-list film trailers; such as the two new Wonder Woman films. Victoria was featured on four pieces on Jo’s vocal album, “Sentience”, alongside film score singers, Clara Sorace and Úyanga Bold. “Sentience” was officially released on all platforms on May 26, 2021. As Victoria enjoys creative writing, she wrote ... multiple “inspirational musings” on her Facebook pages inspired by Jo’s powerful music, and to promote the album. Jo Blankenburg produced a video to feature one of the pieces that Victoria sang vocals on, which showcased some of her writing, which she narrated and recorded for the video. Victoria wrote lyrics for and performed operatic vocals on the song, “Lux Tua”, an exciting Electronic Dance Music/Opera fusion piece with music by Joseph Borg, a.k.a. Hibernate, which was first released on Joseph’s record label, Alpha Milk Recordings, and soon after, was signed onto the Perfecto Record Label by Paul Oakenfold, along with Paul’s own remix of the song. Victoria has participated in a week-long master class with Swedish Soprano, Gitta-Maria Sjöberg, of the Royal Danish Opera, at the childhood home and museum of famous Swedish Soprano, Birgitt Nilsson, in Båstad, Sweden; which culminated in a final concert at the home church of Birgitt Nilsson. Victoria has appeared with symphony orchestras in the U.S. such as Lake Union Civic Orchestra, The Mahler Festival Orchestra, Rainier Symphony Orchestra, Northwest Sinfonietta, Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Pacific Chamber Ensemble, and in Canada with the Mississauga Symphony, Brampton Symphony and London Community Orchestra. She has performed at the Mahler Festival, Festa Italiana, Festival of The Sound, and Carassauga, Festival of Cultures. Victoria performs at special events and concerts in Canada and Europe, as well as in churches, and has been on tour in the U.S. and Canada with singers of The Royal Danish Opera. Some of Victoria's performances with symphony orchestras have included: Vanessa in Samuel Barber’s (Vanessa), (Four Last Songs) by Richard Strauss, First Soprano: “Magna Peccatrix” in Gustav Mahler’s, (8th Symphony of a Thousand), Gustav Mahler’s, (2nd Symphony), L.V. Beethoven’s, (9th Symphony), Samuel Barber’s, (Knoxville Summer of 1915); Six Richard Strauss songs in concert. She also appeared as Madame Herz in a concert version of W.A.
