"I heard Alice singing at a care home Christmas party in December 2023, which I was visiting as Mayor of Felixstowe. I can honestly say that her presence and performance in that busy room was quite outstanding and transformed the experience into something quite magical. In particular, Alice's rendition of Pie Jesu (from Requiem) was one of the most captivating and moving musical moments I have ever experienced. It came out of the blue, among the Christmas wrapping and chatter, with background noise and distractions, but her voice rose above it all and moved everyone in the room. My friend and I spontaneously stood to applause, both with tears in our eyes.
