Description

21st Century Abba are one of the UK's leading LIVE Abba tribute bands. Formed in 2019, they have been wowing audiences all over the world with their genuine likeness to Abba, both visually and musically, and with their fabulous costumes, all custom made (and with up to seven costume changes in a show)! 21st Century Abba normally perform as a five or six piece but can be available up to a 12 piece and down to a four piece. The difference with 21st Century Abba is that the band aren't just singing and miming over backing tracks; they are really singing and performing live, with audience singa ... longs and live endings part of the show. They normally perform in theatres, festivals and corporate events and will travel worldwide to perform (Jordan and Israel already in the first two months of 2023). They combine their show with giant, light up Abba letters and video backdrops (LED screen compatible) which are synced and screen in time with the songs. The band can perform a 'power hour', the 'theatre set' (2 sets of up to 1 hour, the 90 minute 'Greatest Hits' set any anything in between! This is a band not to be missed!

Biography

21st Century Abba formed in 2019. Nina (Agnetha) and Marcus (Bjorn) had already won the Agents Association UK Award for the Top Abba Tribute Band four years in a row (both having been successful musicians prior to Abba, with Marcus touring the world with various tribute bands and Nina singing backing vocals for various famous rock bands worldwide, performing at Download Festival with her own band and having a songwriting publishing deal with Sony) when they decided to form 21st Century Abba. They wanted to make a new Abba Tribute band with a truly live sound, rather than playing over fully f ... ormed backing tracks. So they joined with: Greg Baker (Benny), a pianist who became Grade 8 by the age of eleven, Indrija Kustov (Frida), a natural Mezzo to Nina's Soprano voice and a professional model, Martin 'Magic' Johnson, drummer and Musical Director with Bewitched and Guthrie Govan and Mike Brooks, Bass Player and Journalist for Bass Player Magazine.
They combine their musical prowess (and genuine likeness to Abba) with beautiful Abba lit up giant letters and LED wall compatible backdrop videos synced to each song in the set.
This really is a high quality show not to be missed!

Went to the advent with my sister in law and my mum what a complete treat … loved the songs the dancing the participation, totally recommend this tribute , if you want a fantastic evening out with family or friends Favourite moment? Abba getting the audience totally involved, and such a wonderful atmosphere Describe your experience at this gig overall Absolutely brilliant evening , listening to all our favourite music , fantastic performance

A great feel-good dance band, full of positive energy. Just what we all need in these challenging times. Professional all-round; their look, sound and attitude. I've seen them perform four times now, and their show last weekend in the spectacular Durham Cathedral was the best yet. (....and a plus for all you event organisers: they're also really easy to work with!).
