Aleksander Papierz – saxophonist, improviser, who has been playing on the world stage of jazz and experimental music for many years. In his playing he presents different styles, from hypnotizing melodies through wild solo parts to electroacoustic experiments.

Professian musician/saxophonist with own studio based in glasgow. I'm available as session musician, mixing engineer. I'm also available as part of bigger projects.

I'm asaxophonist and improviser with over 20 years of experience in live performance, composition and mixing/production role.

In his playing he presents different styles, from hypnotizing melodies through wild solo parts to electroacoustic experiments. He belongs to many projects with a diverse stylistic range: Pulsarus (albums: “FAQ”, “Squared Rotoscope”), Pasimito, Max Klezmer Band, Sigihl, Whalesong, Nucleon and CueFx B

He has been a guest at festivals such as: Warsaw Summer Jazz Days, Avant Festival, Re:wizje, Burn Selector Festival, Colours of Ostrava, Art Depot, Slot Art Festival, Transvisualia, Kino na Granicy, at the Malta Festival, in Berlin for the Polish Culture Center, Era Nowe Horyzonty, in Recklinghausen, as well as in Tel Aviv and many others.
He has supported: The Cinematic Orchestra. He has given concerts and collaborated with musicians from Poland and abroad, including: Mikołaj Trzask, Wojciech Waglewski, Maciej Maleńczuk, Adam Pierończyk, Andrew Drury (USA), Jack Wright (USA), Krzysztof Wołek (USA), Luisville Impro Ensemble (USA), Tomek Chołoniewski, Tomasz Dąbrowski, Jan Gałach, Ray Dickaty (UK), Blossom, Vasco Trilla (Spain), Gendos Gennady Chamzyryn (Republic of Tuva), Harold Rubin (RSA/Israel). He also collaborates with the Bretoncaffe Theatre and the National Old Theatre in Krakow. He is also a member of the Cracow Improvisers Orchestra.
