She has also performed at The St. James Theater on Broadway, Birdland, Snally Gaster festival,The National Stadium, the Eagle Arena, Capitol Jazz cruise, and many more.

My Name Is Alena Ciera, I am 24 years old, and I am a sophomore at Bowie State University. I also graduate from Potomac high school in 2014. My guitar & singing journey started when I was six years old. I was watching a television show when I saw the famous group Aly & Aj playing guitar. I began emulating what I saw and heard on that show. I was looking at the characters playing their guitar, singing, and motivating the crowd.
I became very interested in listening to all types of music. It didn't take me long to learn the ends and outs of the instrument. I taught myself the necessary skil ... ls to play the guitar. At the age of nine years old, I had wholly taught myself how to play the guitar along with taking a lesson.
My natural abilities were enhanced by the impact that music had on my life. I enjoyed the music so much. I became excellent at playing guitar; it also enchanted my skills in writing songs. Read More
