Amanda’s sound defies easy categorization, drawing inspiration from the joys and turns that life inevitably takes. Her musical range encompasses genres spanning from pop, jazz, country, opera, classical guitar and heartfelt ballads, and includes languages from English to Spanish. Her specialty lies in making well-known hits her own using her guitar and her melancholic but powerful voice.

Biography

Amanda Luca has been performing since she was 7 years old and from very early took a liking to the guitar.
At the age of 16 she received a gold medal at the South African Talent Championships for her performance in solo singing and guitar and placed 5th overall in the National Eisteddfod Academy of South Africa.
She attended Stellenbosch University in South Africa where she studied a Bachelor of Music specializing in classical guitar, voice, and composition and then she did her diploma in Music Education. She is known for playing and singing solo sets with pop, folk and country elements ... and writes her own songs known for being filled with melancholy and emotion.
In 2022 she received a callback to the International Models and Talent Convention in New York City as well as a four-year scholarship to the prestigious AMDA College of Performing Arts. In 2023 she released her first single called Ironic with Producer and performer Gino Lee as co-writer. She has entertained a vast collection of audiences both locally and across the world. Amanda’s mission is to make an impact with her music and to write what she perceives as truth.
