“Latinx Divas: Out of the Box” is a high-energy musical journey celebrating iconic Latinas who dared to shape music history—from the legendary Celia Cruz and Selena to today’s pop stars like Karol G and ROSALíA. Some of the “out-of-the-box” artists include Latinas like Christina Aguilera and Linda Ronstadt. Angelina’s dynamic premium show delivers an unforgettable blend of salsa, cumbia, Latin pop, rock, reggaeton, and contemporary urban sounds honoring these powerhouse women who broke barriers, conquered international markets, and expanded music industry standards.
In addition ... to paying tribute to these legends, Angelina performs her own original song (released 6/14/26 on all streaming platforms), “Más Que Amor”, representing the next generation of Latina-mixed artists carrying the torch forward. She crosses over being a native-english speaker and a mixed-Latina who taught herself to write spanish music.

Biography

Angelina Segura is an alto/mezzo-soprano vocalist and singer-songwriter specializing in Latin, contemporary pop, soul, and rock music. Known for her dynamic stage presence and vocal versatility, her experience includes a nine-month international cruise ship contract, private celebrity events, weddings, and residencies at renowned venues throughout Los Angeles. Her credits include performing alongside Norwood Fisher of Fishbone and serving as performer & musical director for “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” under Doug Petrie, a notable director and producer.
She’s also performed with man ... y LA-based cover bands featuring notable musicians and actors as well as performances with musicians of Pink Floyd & Parliament-Funkadelic Additional highlights include on-camera appearances at Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Ranch, and Sony Pictures Studios.
Being a mixed-Latina artist, Angelina brings authenticity and cultural connection to every performance. Her music blends contemporary influences with her Latin heritage, as heard in her original song, “Más Que Amor”, featured in her “Latinx Divas” production. Angelina studied at Musicians Institute in Hollywood and trained with renowned vocal coach Lisa Popeil.

Meet the Act

I started out singing with my three sisters with roots in choir. I have music in my blood as my grandfather was a semi-famous, 12-string guitar player in Mexico. I learned piano by ear at the age of 12 and have been making music ever since. I love creating original music because it keeps the spirit of ‘human’ alive. I am a native english speaker but learned spanish and taught myself how to write spanish music. To put it simply, we all already possess an original song and this is the way I choose to express mine!
