Biography

Angelo Thomas is a versatile musician who has seamlessly transitioned from hard rock to soulful pop, captivating audiences with his performances. As one half of the sibling duo, Sarah Jane & Angelo Thomas, he has gained recognition for his remarkable talent and regularly performs at various corporate, private, and wedding events.
Angelo's musical journey began in 2001 when he took on the role of frontman for his first band, Askani, alongside a group of friends from high school. Growing up in a convent, Angelo's passion for performance was nurtured from an early age as he sang in the choir. ... However, it was not until 2000 when he played the lead role of Joseph in "Joseph and his Technicolored Dreamcoat" that his love for music was reignited.
Having spent a successful seven years performing and touring across South Africa with rock bands such as Scarlett System and 12th Avenue (now known as Mark Haze), Angelo decided to embark on a new artistic direction. Shedding the eye-liner and dark attire, he found himself drawn to the light and underwent a musical rebirth as an Acoustic Popper. Drawing inspiration from various genres, Angelo's love for pop music and his skill in recreating popular songs on his acoustic guitar have allowed him to strip down each track to its raw form, adding his unique touch.
