Female Solo Acoustic guitar/vocalist. Using a vocal harmonizer/occasional looper, and a suitcase drum, Ann gives the ability to provide a sound that is more like a one person band. Using the drum, playing harmonica and guitar all at the same time is unique and gives the listener a visual experience as well. Many comments like this are common; "How does she do all that?!" Biography

Ann has been performing professionally for 26 years, mostly in Iowa, Minnesota and in S.W. Wisconsin, where she now calls home. Her voice is like velvet and steel. The music she covers as a solo acoustic guitar/vocalist is very versatile! She is not afraid to belt out a Johnny Cash song and go right to a Mellissa Etheridge, then surprise you by playing a sweet song from Sia or an Indie artist such as the Indigo Girls.
Ann performs as a bassist and lead /back-up vocalist in different local bands and fills in her schedule with solo and duo shows playing rock, folk, country…all genres ... past and present. The main thing she enjoys about playing solo shows is that she can connect with the audience more directly. Ann has gained experience performing at a variety of different events including weddings, birthday parties, fund raisers, festivals and bars throughout her her musical career and is always expanding her repertoire of music.
Whether it’s covers of The Eagles, Janis Joplin, or Adele, or Jimmy Buffet, she’ll get you singing along and clamoring for more!

Experience

Being in the music business and playing a variety of events and situations, my experience has taught me the value of being on time, good communication skills and willingness to be flexible when necessary. I've played as a solo entertainer for many bars and private parties in S.W. Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota. Weddings, birthdays, themed parties (ex: ugly sweater party). As a band member, I have played numerous indoor & outdoor large stage events. All these experiences have really given me the opportunity to hone my craft and share it with my audience.
