Acting Experience

April has experience of performing in everything from Pantomime with Stanley Baxter and Ronnie Corbett to Stage Musicals such as Anything Goes and The Full Monty in the West End, plus small parts in television dramas. She sang in the recording of Anything Goes at Decca. She has also extensively used her acting skills in Roleplay for real life Doctor's exams.

Meet the Act

April went to full-time Ballet/Theatre school at the age of 11 and became a professional dancer. At the age of 14 years she appeared amongst Ballet Stars including Beryl Grey and Nadia Nerina in The All England Sunshine Dance Gala at the Palace Theatre as a Challenge Cup winner and was presented to Princess Margaret after the show. Having had an early career in shows and musicals as a triple threat, April retired from the stage to bring up her family of three boys. She then resumed her career at the age of 52 when she updated her training and gained a Postgraduate Diploma at The Royal Cent ... ral School of Speech and Drama in Acting, Musical Theatre.
