Cole Porter, Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern etc. Can perform her April Sings Arlen show either as an hour show or 2 x 45 minutes featuring the work of Harold Arlen (films Wizard of Oz, A Star is Born, Jazz standards, Get Happy, Stormy Weather, Paper Moon, World on a String.) and many more!

Acting Experience

April has experience of performing in everything from Pantomime with Stanley Baxter and Ronnie Corbett to Stage Musicals such as Anything Goes and The Full Monty in the West End, plus small parts in television dramas. She sang in the recording of Anything Goes at Decca. She has also extensively used her acting skills in Roleplay for real life Doctor's exams.

Meet the Act

April went to full-time Ballet/Theatre school at the age of 11 and became a professional dancer. At the age of 14 years she appeared amongst Ballet Stars including Beryl Grey and Nadia Nerina in The All England Sunshine Dance Gala at the Palace Theatre as a Challenge Cup winner and was presented to Princess Margaret after the show. Having had an early career in shows and musicals as a triple threat, April retired from the stage to bring up her family of three boys.
