Hi,
My name is Reuben Chandler and I’ve been playing the sax since the age of 9. I live in Hove and my act is very adaptable depending on the occasion and i believe my energy has the effect to draw people towards me, whether it be my dance moves or sax playing. I play a variety of styles, jazz, blues, funk, pop, rock, Ibiza house, 90’s classics, garage and Drum and Bass. I have an additional Dj, bongo player or vocalist for my act if needed.

I would like to take this moment to say thank you for playing such a special part at my mum's wedding, what a day it was! Your saxophone rendition of ‘At Last’ by Etta James, performed throughout the signing the registry was just beautiful, powerful yet subtlety played, it really set the tone for the rest of the day.
And on to the evening where you and DJ partner forming the duo ‘Audio Rocks’ did just that... rocked! I know now why your called that, and very justified too! You brought an energy to the evening keeping those that wan ... ted to dance going all night, and even those that thought they’d had enough coming back for more! You both worked so well together, your enthusiasm, tune selection and additional Sax playing created a unique and infectious vibe, a sound that went down really well to the very end.
Anyone looking for top performance for a special occasion I recommend Reuben a.k.a. Basax and his team of entertainers, without a doubt you’ll get professionalism, entertainment, and that personal touch, I couldn’t have been happier for my mum, she absolutely loved it.

I've used Reuben before in the past for many different events - boat parties, London bar gigs, and even my mother's burial service, and he compliments the event very well - be it high energy and excitement whilst playing the sax for parties and gigs, or respectful and gentle for my mother's burial service. He is always professional, arrives on time and prepared for any un-expected unforeseen circumstances that might crop up on the event. Would highly recommend him.

We booked Reuben to play the saxophone at our wedding as I had seen him at a friend's wedding previously and his performance during the reception was one of the highlights of our big day. Only a couple of weeks before the wedding we realised that we needed a master of ceremonies. As Reuben has a big personality, we asked him if it was something he was able to do for us. He said that he had done this before and it would not be a problem. After the wedding we received many compliments from family and friends at how good a job Reuben did, both on the sax and on the mic...... THANKS REUBEN!!!!
