I play own songs mixed with covers that fit my style, sometimes with a baritone western guitar. Covers mainly range from 70s (The Doors, Fleetwood Mac..), 80s (Lionel Ritchie, Tracy Chapman, Bryan Adams..) to 90s (REM, Pearl Jam,..), according to agreement. A customized personal song would also be possible

Biography

Bela Wrona started to make music with friends in a suburb of Regensburg, a cozy Bavarian provincial city. The styles of his bands ranged from Grunge and Alternative to 70s Metal, Blues and Punk. Belas voice was always compared to that of various grunge singers but also changed later to a „Jim Morrison“ vocal style. His expressive appearance and dancing on live stages earned him the nickname „crane“. In Cologne he started with fellow students and friends a Heavy Psych Rock band called „Sideway Spiral“, named after a Motorpsycho song. It was a great time with many concerts in the are ... a of Cologne, but Bela felt … something is missing. When the band came into a stagnation phase, Bela explored his voice more and more and found there’s more in it. Alongside his bands, he always wrote solo stuff on his acoustic guitar. Traversing the bridge from rock to pop, changing the electric guitar to an acoustic western one, and transforming from a rock singer to a singer-songwriter, there is this idea of writing old-school melodic pop rock songs. Vintage tunes with 80s and 90s vibes. Bela took some old songs, which were originally influenced by grunge and college rock, and wrote some new ones. He painted them with some colors of AOR and Yacht Rock for a sunny flair. As with his band before, where Bela experimented with an 8-string guitar, he was eager to find a unique guitar sound.
