Hey there! My name is Braxton Nicholas, I'm a saxophonist based out of Nashville with years of live music and studio recording experience. Living here since 2010, I graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Music Performance in 2013, and have since played with countless local and touring artists, and have taken three ship contracts on Holland America Line with the B.B. King All-Star Band and Carnival Cruise Lines. I've also been a featured artist at Rochester Jazz Festival. Here in Nashville, I've played countless gigs downtown at various clubs and venues such as Acme, Bourbon St., Al ... ley Taps, Tin Roof, Woolworth, The 12/30 Club, City Winery, Brooklyn Bowl, The 5 Spot, The End, 3rd and Lindsley, Exit/In, Rudy's Jazz Room, The East Room, and many others. I also have played more weddings and corporate events than I could possibly count, with more still on the way through various wedding/corporate/party band acts. While I play all styles, I am fundamentally a jazz/funk/blues/neo-soul/fusion musician at my core.
