I provide entertainment in the form of solo piano (jazz, dinner music, cocktail music, etc..) and ensembles (piano/vocal duo, jazz trio, quartet, etc..). Among the genres I could perform are Jazz (swing, bossa nova, bebop,), Latin, Pop, R&B, Soul, Rock, musical theater.
Description
Ever since elementary school I have enjoyed playing in bands, making music, and entertaining people. Beginning as a classical pianist, I began playing Pop/Rock as a teenager and Jazz in college. After completing my Bachelor's Degree in Music from Chapman University in Orange, CA, I continued my education with a Master's Degree in Music Performance - Jazz and Commercial Music from Cal State Fullerton. I currently work as a pianist, arranger, bandleader, and educator in Orange County and Los Angeles and do accompaniment work at teach at various institutions. If hired for an event, you can expect a solo or group performance personally customized to your event. If you are hosting a dinner party and are looking for mellow background music, I will make that happen! On the contrary, if you are looking to book a live band that could put on an entertaining concert and get people on the dance floor, you will get an entertaining, energetic, and heartfelt performance of just that and more!
