Soprano Caitlin Redding has been hailed for her “touching” (Welt.de) and “no holds barred” (Qonstage) performances in a wide spectrum of repertoire, covering Purcell, Mozart, Massenet,Tchaikovsky, and more. Since her studies at The Juilliard School, she has been a sought after performer for both traditional works and modern music on American and European stages. Celebrated performances also include Angelina (La Cenerentola), and Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) in Hamburg, Prague, Greece, and New York. Concert highlights include Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center), as wel ... l as Smetana Hall (Prague) and Megaron Mousikis (Athens). Also a singing aerialist and passionate performer of new works, her 2021/2022 season began with several projects on dance trapeze with Australian composer Chloé Charody. This includes 2 new circus operas filmed in Berlin and a subsequent new work premiere in the United Kingdom. Caitlin was a resident young artist at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Crested Butte Opera Festival, and the Castleton Festival with the late Maestro Lorin Maazel. She holds a graduate degree from The Juilliard School where she was a recipient of the prestigious Novick Grant, and bachelors degrees from the University of Maryland in voice and Italian Literature. Caitlin is a fluent speaker of German, Italian, and Spanish.
