Biography

Caspian is a British composer, songwriter, recording artist and session guitarist. He has a mixed background from the UK, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela. Currently, he divides his time between the UK and France.
He is primarily focussed in the following genres: Folk, blues, rock n' roll, and jazz, but also fuses reggae, soul, carnival rhythms, and latin music.
Guitar is his first instrument where he is equally proficient on acoustic and electric guitars. He also plays piano, keyboards and electric bass guitar.
He is available for a range of private event live performances, touring, an ... d recording, either as a solo artist or as part of a touring or contracted band line up.
As a Composer, his music has a modern classical, ambient soundtrack feel, predominantly centred around Piano and Strings.
As a Songwriter, he has been compared to Nick Cave, Tom Petty, and Chris Rea.
His arrangements and recordings fuse the Blues, Folk, Rock, Shoegaze with Soul, drawing comparison to The War on Drugs, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Mark Knopfler.
As a Vocalist, his voice fits into the low end baritone range.
