Biography

I started singing for fun when I was just 9 years old and I immediately developed a deep passion for music, which led me to begin studying modern singing at the age of 12.
Over the years, I have been guided by several Italian vocal coaches and I also studied at “Una Città per Cantare”, the music academy founded by Italian famous songwriter Ron, where I trained not only in singing but also in musical theatre with Italian industry professionals.
My live performance experience began early, at 14 years old, singing on local stages with an all-female amateur rock/punk-rock cover band.
A ... t the same time, I started performing as a solo singer in various shows and singing competitions, and I also experimented with amateur theatre.
A turning point came in 2016, with the creation of a pop-rock tribute band dedicated to female voices, “Clara and the Wizards of Rock”, marking the real beginning of my professional singing career.
In 2017, the band was selected by “Campari” and “MCM Comunicazione” to perform at some live shows during Campari Soda summer promotional tour.
I then also launched my acoustic project and I performed as a backing vocalist and lead female singer with a 80s pop dance cover band.
During those years, I also taught modern singing and worked as a piano bar entertainer with other musicians and singers.
Later, I joined an Italian famous party band, “Divina band”, for a short period, performing pop-dance hits from the 70s until today, with simple choreographies and costume changes and then I focused on an acoustic pop-rock cover project.
Wishing to expand my career abroad, I started working as a party band singer on board MSC Cruises with Rossetti Cruise Entertainment.
After many years performing covers, I began a new artistic journey with Up Music, an Italian music label, focusing on original songs and I chose my stagename, claradiana, a tribute to my paternal grandmother Diana — who sadly passed away before I was born and loved music and dreamed of becoming a singer herself.
In November 2024, I released my first Italian single – “Fenice” – and I’m currently working on more original Italian songs.
Today I’m a cover singer, but I’m also working on my original music project to express my feelings and values through my own songs.
I am inspired by artists like Freddie Mercury, Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga and over the years I have made versatility my trademark, experimenting with different music genres and styles. Read More
