A remarkable player. We asked for some Queen and some Beatles and Craig played a selection - we were tasked to name the songs. Great fun - and no-one else in the restaurant knew the game we were playing.

Amazing repertoire and skill of Craig on the piano - he created such a nice atmosphere and came and spoke to us. We didn't have a particular song for him to play but it was really enjoyable.

Experience

Craig has a wealth of experience playing for all types of events; from corporate events, restaurant performing and jazz clubs; both as a soloists and as a band keyboard member. Specialising now more so in solo cocktail hotel lobby and restaurant performing.
Craig really enjoys sharing his playing and improvising around a given melody - he enjoys disguising the melody and harmony in the game of "guess that tune" where he often starts with a very disguised version, making the song increasingly clearer until the guesser is successful! Great fun!

Previous Clients

Previous long term residencies include a prestigious restaurant in Berkhamsted and presently Browns restaurant in Milton Keynes - where Craig has played and enjoys playing weekly, for around 5 years.
All are welcome to come along and listen - Sundays 11.00am- 3.00pm. The bar is open as well as the restaurant to all.

Meet the Act

Craig is happy to bring a keyboard or two and play for a wedding ceremony and then for photographs and a breakfast, for a hotel lobby or restaurant - and again he can bring his own instrument(s).
Craig enjoys melting tunes together and matching the character of playing to the room - quiet moments / lively moments. He is able to perform most tunes in a variety of styles - usually improvising along the way.
A menu-booklet of just under 100 songs is useful for guests to "guess the song" from - and this stimulates enjoyable conversation. Craig is versed in wandering around tables, chatting to d ... iners and taking ideas and requests.Sometimes a short quiz emerges with a particular table - eg. name the five tunes by the Beatles, or five tunes beginning with a particular letter - all improvised and melted together at the spur of the moment.
