Biography

Cruise Control is a new 5 piece band consisting of hand-picked extraordinary musicians from Trinidad and Tobago. Each member has contributed to the music industry via live performances or as session musicians; and so, we take pride in our craft.
Our passion naturally extends into our performance creating a memorable experience that connects to the audience. Coming from the land of Calypso, Soca, Carnival and so much more…we are dedicated to executing our best performance yet!

When Jeanine was requested to put together a British themed coronation set, she had her band deliver a customized set list for the occasion. When Jeanine was requested to put together an 80s set list for an 80s deck party trial, she delivered and organized additional rehearsal to ensure her band would perform it at a high standard. Whenever the Caribbean Princess needed Jeanine, Jeanine rose to the occasion.

Jeanine has done a great job with the musical aspect of her role and has ensured her band performs at a level expected by the company. She has stepped up multiple times this contract in different ways, including when the guitarist in her band was inactive and she still carried on with all her regular sets/theme sets (country Night and Rock N Roll). She also stepped up and offered to do some lead vocal songs in Princess World Orchestra which is out of her normal element but put in the work and absolutely smashed it when it came time for the performance. Her band is always on time, flexible and easy to work with. She has done very well this contract and her band has been a very important part of our onboard entertainment product. They have been extremely easy to work with and have had great attitudes

Jeanine has been the band leader as well as keyboard and vocalist with Cruise Control for the past 2 months on Coral Princess. They are seasoned performers, comfortable and quite adept in their position. Jeanine has led her band with respect and honesty through some challenging times and has always worked with management to insure a strong musical product, Cruise Control is a very well-rehearsed, sequenced oriented pop band that fits in well to our entertainment program. They are hardworking and well behaved and have been a strong asset to the success of our department. They work well in a variety of venues, playing sets in Explorers and the Universe Lounge as well as poolside Lido sets. The have nice theme sets which include Country, Love Songs, Disco/70's and Reggae as well as perform for Captain Circle Parties. It has been a pleasure having them work with us onboard and I wish them much success in the future.

Jeanine has been the musical director for Victoire de la Musique awardee Calypso Rose, BET nominee Nailah Blackman and other artistes successfully. Graduating with First Class Honours with a BA in Musical Arts from the University of the West Indies, Jeanine has experience as a session keyboardist, live performer and band manager.
Jason Seecharan
Lead Vocalist
Jason has been performing and writing music for many moons! His previous group H2O Flow has even signed with Atlantic Records. His professionalism and dedication to his ... craft is unmatched.
Chryston Floyd
Guitar | Backing Vocalist
Floyd has won multiple awards in the Trinidad and Tobago Music Festival including Best Wind or Stringed Instrumentalist. He formed a pop cover band called The Entourage that had 6 successful years in the local music scene that also went onto doing tours regionally and in Canada.
Joshua Richardson
Bassist | Keys | Guitar
Joshua is informally known as the go-to session and live bassist for many artistes including Voice, Destra Garcia, Positive and so many more. In addition to being an in-demand bassist, his skillset extends to guitar, synth bass and keys. Joshua has also toured and been a part of Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister’s band, Divine Echoes.
Nicholas Thomas
Drummer | Percussionist
Von is a graduate from the University of Trinidad and Tobago with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts specializing in Percussion with experience from Queen Mary 2 and Coral Princess. He has additional experience in doing tours within the steel ensemble BP Renegades in Germany and other bands at The Dominican Creole Festival as well as Carifesta in Haiti.
