Biography

DeeAnn DiMeo, Buffalo-based, singer/songwriter, has her roots anchored in a gospel, blues/jazz and soul foundation. She was inducted into the Niagara Falls Music Hall of Fame in 2019, and is a multiple Buffalo Music Award winner as Best Female Vocalist. She fronted several bands as lead singer and primary songwriter, getting airplay all around the country in college markets with Country and Jazz stations with previous projects. After a hiatus from music in 2015 she launched back into the local scene and now decides to get back to her gospel roots into the nationally known blues/jazz and sou ... l scene.
DeeAnn has partnered with Grammy-nominated producer RiShon Odel and Philly Blues/Buffalo Soul man, Mick Hayes, (My Claim To Fame) to bring forth this beautifully written epic classic, ‘Writing on The Wall’.
DeeAnn has previously released three independent solo albums and three other singles. The albums are, Desperately Seeking DeeAnn, Stay Here, and It’s My Time. The singles are Shallow Breathing, Stay Here, and Unforgettable, featuring her Papa, Frank DiMeo.
