Let me tell you about my girl @dinzyrock. I had her sing the songs of not one, not, two, not 3 but 4 world class vocalists Jeff Scott Soto, Joe Lynn Turner, Marc Boals and Goran Edman and then added a 5th in Ozzy Osbourne, and mastered all with such energy force and style, it shook the whole damn room. This is one of the best rock vocalists in this city y’all and heck best vocalists period. She can tear up Beyoncé and Adele like no one’s biz. Always a great day when I can share the stage with her. One of my faves for sure. Hire her, put her on your records and shows. They will be elevated for sure.

Once vocalist Dinzy entered the stage after their first song, “Orang-Outang”, she literally was nonstop. Her movements took her side to side, front to back and behind the drum kit. Following her every move was chore up front but from the second level, the task was a bit simpler.

Kristen ‘Dinzy’ Dinsmore, the five alarm fire out front these days, deserves all of the accolades and attention anyone can lavish on her for embodying all that Annabella’s career fought to establish and all that Bow Wow Wow came to mean to their audience. While substituting a Malcolm McLaren protegee for one of Berklee College of Music may seem pre-listen to strip some of the soot from the shanties, Dinsmore disabuses you of that misconception instantly and will make you feel piteously suburban for even having considered it.
