Experience
As far as experience I have been a full time professional DJ for over 2 decades and approaching 5000 gigs across a broad range of events and clubs across the globe, i’ve never really viewed myself as just a mobile DJ and 4500 of my gigs have been in various types of clubs from house, pop, dance, RnB, indie etc.
Playlists
I’m always happy to work from a music guide or playlist.
Mic Style
I tend to prefer to let the music do the talking, I’m well spoken and polite and I will make announcements as required but I don’t profess to being a comedian and you won’t hear me ... trying to be one.
Kit
I’ve attached some pictures of my kit which is elegant, I try to avoid looking like your traditional mobile DJ. As you can see all look more like a nightclub DJ box.
Even the basic rig has a very powerful 2000W using high quality QSC and Mackie Speakers. the larger rig will cover a room with 500 people.
I use an Apple MacBook Pro Quad Core with SSD for speed and reliability and have a back up system running from my iPad. I have 15,000 popular tracks on my Hard Drive and i’m happy to download others if you have a playlist and even on the night.
I make every effort for my rigs not to look like your stereotypical ‘mobile’ DJ

I have DJ'd for the rich and famous including weddings for sports stars, and have also been featured on TV.
Corporate events including NEXT 40th Birthday celebrations at the NEC, Lamborghini, Tesco & B&Qs 50th Birthday Party at the ACC Arena in Liverpool, Charity events including the Poppyrocks London and Staffordshire’s popular charities, the Donna Louise Trust and Dougie Mac.

DJ Karlton played at our wedding celebration party last weekend and he was absolutely amazing! He played a fantastic range of music which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, and then later on kept a bunch of us old ravers extremely happy with some absolute bangers and top class mixing skills! Karlton is so friendly and professional and really knows what he's doing. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and loads of our guests told us afterwards that they thought he was great. Amazing DJ!! We had DJ Karlton for our wedding at Foxtail Barns and from start to finish he was absolutely FABULOUS! He was able to read the room and play bangers all night long. The dance floor was full the entire night! We couldn’t recommend him enough! 10/10! Thank you so much!

We had DJ Karlton for our wedding last February - and we couldn't have wanted more from a dancefloor. He blended songs that he knew would really get the dancefloor going, along with some of our requests pre-wedding (including an epic closing song). Our guests absolutely loved it - as did we. He also took some brilliant pictures of people dancing which he shared with us. This is really good as often official wedding photographers only stay up to the first dance. Beforehand, Karlton's communication was great too, clearly outlining what we needed to do and by when, which is very helpful! He was very friendly and easy to chat to on the night itself as well. Would definitely recommend Karlton!
