Recording Artist KLEO, is the lead singer of the Band. She turns up the show with TOP 100 Billboard Hits including high energy Dance, Pop, Classic Rock and R&B tunes. KLEO’s love for people and her accomplished Modeling, Dancing, Acting and Recording Artist careers has earned her many adoring fans from around the world. She’s a native Las Vegan, with a bit of ‘Southern Swag’. Her introduction to the world of entertainment began when she was just a small tot, singing and dancing for stadium filled arenas. While studying classical piano and clarinet, her side activities were performing w ... ith the neighborhood drill team, the high school band and modeling. In her spare time KLEO took on Opera lessons, which down the line contributed to her record deal as a Solo Artist. KLEO has appear in magazines across the country and many of her friends could always look up and find her on some television show, video or commercial.KLEO also holds the prestigious title of Cleopatra, the spokes model for the Caesars Palace Resort & Casino. KLEO traveled the world representing the Hotel. She once delivered a very special birthday cake all the way to Taiwan, China She’d present various proclamations while making her grand entrance on the trunk of an elephant. She’s traveled abroad accompanying various Celebrities while introducing and promoting the Hotel, its events and products. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, KLEO’s love for dance led her to the famous, legendary Don Arden’s Jubilee Show where she fulfilled her dream of becoming a beautiful Las Vegas Showgirl! As a triple threat, KLEO attained one of her most glorious titles, Miss Nevada USA! Along with the reigning Miss USA, KLEO was chosen as one of five talented Beauty Queens to join Bob Hope on the world famous USO Tour! Off she goes again! “When I think about my life, it’s really hard to believe I did all those things and I don’t take any of it for granted - NOT FOR ONE MINUTE!” KLEO eventually relocated to Los Angeles expanding her modeling, television and recording careers. A hit song from world famous Terry Louis & Jimmy Jam along with other hit makers; Robert Palmer and DJ Ralphi Rizario, started KLEO’s Recording Career with a blast! Although missing home, she accomplished her goals with 2 singles rising up the Billboard Charts, both landing in the top 7, in the country! She toured across country, visiting radio stations, performing and promoting her new album. After a 10 year stretch in Los Angeles, KLEO was established and decided to come back home! Caesars Palace embraced her with open arms, as she picked right back up with her spokes model career until the world famous Hugh Hefner’s finest Playboy Club arrived to Las Vegas! Landing at the PALMS Resort & Casino, becoming a Playboy Bunny was never on KLEO’s bucket list BUT she couldn’t resist the ‘once in a life time’, truly unique opportunity. KLEO auditioned and was hired as Las Vegas’ Lead Playboy Bunny and that kept her busy for quite some time! “Vegas is such a unique beast and where else in the world could I have ever had such amazing jobs, so the question in my mind was, what’s next? And it had to be something unique; when my ‘now’ Band Director said, ‘You need to have your own band’ and I
knew that was it! My next big adventure!” THE DUSTYY LANE BAND was born! “Ultimately, MUSIC is my passion! And for me,
music includes dance. So full speed ahead with live performing, writing songs, recording and engineering them; I LOVE IT ALL! I love the ‘in studio’ – behind the scenes work as much as I love the actual performing. Carl Roland is the Band Director and he is a fierce talent alone! He has written and produced so many great, world renowned songs for so many great Artists and has defiantly brought out the best in me. With our collaboration, I am blessed to be able to do it all and that’s exactly what I’m doing! Ironically, throughout Carl’s music career, he never crossed paths with KLEO; simply seeing her in one of her music videos and thinking, “I’d like to work with her one day”. Growing up in Kansas City, Carl was a very popular athlete, playing for the undefeated school football, basketball and baseball team but his love for music steered him in another direction. Carl was a natural musician, playing the trumpet, teaching himself how to play the guitar and mastering the piano. By the age of 15, Carl was on stage playing guitar and keys with professional adult bands, trying to blend in, as if he wasn’t just a child! By 19, with a little cash in his pocket, a car load of clothes, his guitar and keyboard, Carl and a few aspiring friends journeyed cross country landing in Los Angeles. Carl was also part of the hit making production team Mokutz, which he formed with his close friend and business partner Charles Jordan. Carl aggressively built relationships, sharing his music creations with as many music Executives that would listen and shortly thereafter, Mokutz landed an impressive record deal ultimately signing with EMI music publishing now SONY/ATV. Throughout his career, Carl has made hit records that soared the Billboard Charts, straight to the top! He’s earned Gold and Platinum records along with the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul award for one of the most requested Wedding Songs for over a decade entitled, “YOU.” “This is one of my greatest and most memorable accomplishments. Jesse is one of the friends who made the journey from Kansas to LA dreaming of a record deal. We were young and crazy but we were also fearless, hungry and we really believed in our talents. That journey to LA certainly paid off. But actually, Jessy came after I had the most incredible and amazing opportunity! I was blessed enough to have guidance from the eldest of the legendary Jackson family – Jackie Jackson. Jackie was a manager, mentor and good friend to us allowing us full access to the Jacksons’ Havenhurst studios located on the Jackson Family compound. This is where we learned the true art of production and the business of music. That time and experience alone is priceless and unforgettable.” While much of his time is consumed with the Dustyy Lane Band project, Carl also finds time to produce and score music recordings for film and television. “This side of production is just another way of expressing my creativity and I really enjoy it. You can see some of my work on the Dustyy Lane Band YouTube Channel - DUSTYY LANE BAND LV-TV.” Carl looks forward to finishing his own Smooth Jazz album this year, as well as a solo project for KLEO. “The Jazz project is something I’ve been wanting to do over the last few years. I play many instruments and want to be able to express that in my project. I am considering some collaborations with a few other well-known Jazz players, but that’s a secret for now. I might even be able to talk KLEO into ‘ooooowzing’ on a track! But right now, I’ll have to fit it in around Dustyy Lane! This is a great project and this band will be like no other band. I get to recreate all styles of music with my own personal expression of it and THEN, you have an incredible vocalist and performer like KLEO putting’ her touch on it; it’s a hit making combination!
