Edward Salles is an actor and tenor of Cuban origin, considered one of the brightest promises of his generation. Currently, he stands out in Mexico as the protagonist in the musical "The Phantom of the Opera", where he has captivated the public with his powerful voice and emotional performance. Being the first Cuban born in Cuba to play this role. His repertoire ranges from classics such as "Rigoletto", "La Bohème" and "Pagliacci" to musical theater, where Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story and Beauty and the Beast stand out, showing his versatility and except ... ional talent. 2012 - 2015: Training in Cuba.
Edward Salles begins his artistic journey at the University of the Arts of Havana, where he studies Opera, Musical Theater and Dramatic Art. During this period, he stood out as a soloist of the Cuban Opera, participating in various productions. Furthermore, his talent shines on Cuban television, where he performs in multiple concerts broadcast on different channels.
2015 - 2021: Expansion in Latin America
After completing his training, Edward performs on different stages in Mexico, Ecuador, and Cuba. His ability to connect with the audience and his passionate performance earn him recognition and acclaim at every performance. He sang the tenor Soloist in Mozart's Requiem in 2019 based in Cancun and Playa del Carmen, consolidating his career in Mexico.
2021 - 2025: New stage in the United States
Edward moves to the United States to continue his career. He enrolled at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida, where he deepened his studies in Dramatic Art and Opera, perfecting his technique and expanding his artistic horizons.
His talent has led him to sing on international stages, including Naples Opera Gala in Florida playing Rodolfo in Puccini's "La Boheme", Vero Beach Opera highlighting his February 2025 concert, "Love is a Timeless".
November 2025 - Present: The Phantom of the Opera
Edward takes on the iconic role of the Phantom in the production of "The Phantom of the Opera" in Mexico.
