My wife and I have attended Elizabeth Young’s comedic sketches and concerts every chance we get and she is outstanding, brilliantly funny and multi-talented. She wrote a theatrical and musical show and produced it in Indianapolis: Patsy: A Lot o’ Nerve and is taking it national. This summer in Indy the updated version: Betsy and Patsy: Two Broads In and Off the Fringe (Aug 19-Sept 5) promises to be a hit! Elizabeth has a beautiful voice and a large repertoire of songs. When she was hired at El Toro restaurant in Zionsville, she rocked the house and had the staff dancing to La Bamba! We are delighted to recommend her.

Elizabeth rocked the house as a Singing Ms. Santa with hilarious stories about living with Santa Claus. She has a beautiful singing voice and she made the party!!

Experience

As the lyrics of MacNamara’s Band go “ I’ve sung at wakes and weddings and at every fancy ball...” for the last 25 years. For 14 years in a row I was a Singing Ms. Santa for the South Boston Chamber of Commerce. Here in Zionsville Indiana I did outdoor performances for Christmas with Santa Claus so the children could have a visit from Santa despite the pandemic. Most recently I have sun at El Toro restaurant in downtown Zionsville with a wonderful piano player and just this May 8 I put on the Mother’s Day concert it was well attended and got positive reviews. Last October 2020 I per ... formed an outdoor concert: Patsy: A Lot o’ Nerve singing 21 Patsy Cline classics with a four-piece band!

Some former clients are an employee of Harvard in Massachusetts (birthday party at Seasons 52 wearing a Marilyn Monroe costume and singing her hits) , a manager for a corporate event from Boston medical center, several assisted living centers, Stonebrook country club in MA, in 2019 sang in Dordogne France at Bourdil LeBlanc. Concert sung in French and English. Sang at funeral service in Carmel IN for a man who has since attended 3 more of my performances.

Meet the Act

I was born six out of seven siblings and used to compete for air time and my mother’s oatmeal bread. My father was actually an Air Corps/Army captain in WW2 so when I first saw The Sound of Music (“...a captain and 7 children, what’s so fearsome about that...”), I imagined that I was Maria and I certainly could relate to the lyrics “she’s always late for everything except for every meal.” Singing and eating became my favorite past times so it’s no coincidence that I started “singing for my supper” for my life’s work. :)
These days I sing a lot, write jingles and st ... ay fit so I can dance on stage, express myself and sing! I look forward to singing and performing for you folks.
