Biography
Laura Begley first came to prominence on BBC One’s The Voice UK in 2016. She auditioned alongside 48,000 singers and was 1 of 90 to be offered a Blind Audition to perform for Celebrity Coaches; Boy George, Paloma Faith, Will I Am and Ricky Wilson. Laura successfully received 2 chair turns at her audition securing her place on the show. Laura chose Boy George as her mentor and continued her success by reaching The Knockouts. Laura was the only Scottish contestant chosen to compete on The Voice that year. Aside from The Voice, Laura has performed in and around Scotland and Europe for over 3 ye ... ars as part of her acoustic covers band, playing songs from the 60’s right up to present day and set up her own originals band from the age of 16.
