I am able to sing songs of any style of music in a female voice part. Whilst I most comfortably sing an alto part, I am comfortable some higher soprano songs as well.

Biography

I grew up in Kent and discovered my love of singing from a young age. I used to frequently sing around the house to my family members and friends. As I grew older my passion for singing only grew, however I struggled with the confidence to be able to perform properly in front of others. Now I am aged 22 and I have just finished university, having participated in concerts and performed on stage on multiple occasions, an experience which has only proved to strengthen my confidence each time.

Experience

I performed at the soloists concert for the University of Bristol Musical Theatre society, in February 2025, and sang the Winner Takes it All. I have also had a number of solos in other cabaret shows that I took part in, as part of Musical Theatre society, including ‘Another Suitcase in Another Hall’ from Evita, as well as solos in songs such as ‘Freak Flag’ from Shrek the musical, ‘First Burn’ from Hamilton and ‘High School Musical’ from ‘High School Musical 3’.

Acting Experience

I was part of the University of Bristol Musical Theatre society during my final year at the University of Bristol. During this time I took part in as many shows as possible. This included a Summer Cabaret show of musical numbers from Productions, such as Legally Blonde and Guys and Dolls. This wide ranging choice of musicals, featured in the show, meant that I had an opportunity to showcase my versatile acting abilities. I also performed as the mistress in the number ‘Another Suitcase in Another Hallway’ from Evita. Furthermore, I acted in the Leaver’s Cabaret for The University of Brist ... ol Musical Theatre society in numbers such as ‘First Burn’ which required deep emotion and pain, in order to reflect the Heartbreak that Eliza is going through in this number, at discovering Hamilton’s betrayal. I also acted in the Musical Number ‘Freak Flag’ from Shrek the Musical as Humpty Dumpty, as well as performing in other numbers from shows such as The Greatest Showman, Tick Tick Boom and High School Musical Three. Hi, my name is Holly and I have been passionate about singing from a young age. Whilst it is only in recent years that I have discovered the confidence to start performing it on stage, my love for it has burned bright from a young age, and had an opportunity to shine through in certain moments, such as having the honor of performing as Maid Marion in my school play aged 11. I have just completed my degree in Classical Studies at the University of Bristol and during my final year, I made the decision to finally pursue my dreams and joined the University of Bristol Musical Theatre Society.
