I am a Saxophonist and Music Tutor based in Birmingham. I perform across the country and internationally at private events, providing high-class entertainment, playing across a wide range of styles. I have 5 years of teaching experience, from beginners to advanced.
Description
Saxophonist available for all types of events from Weddings to Birthday Parties and everything in between, providing the perfect accompaniment to any special occasion. I perform across a range of styles including Jazz, Pop & Soul. I am available as a solo performer with backing tracks using my own PA system or as a duo with piano accompaniment for an added fee. If you have a DJ booked for your event, I can also play along with them if you would like.

I came to James for lessons as a completed beginner on the saxophone. I am still having lessons a year on and have developed a solid sound and understanding of the saxophone. James is a very competent, patient tutor and I would highly recommend him. His passion for the saxophone makes for very enjoyable lessons!!

I have worked extensively as a professional saxophonist, performing at weddings, corporate functions, and private events across the UK & Europe. Over the past 6+ years, I have collaborated with a variety of ensembles and function bands, including The Phat Cats, Soul Motion & Mirror Band UK, delivering live music for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations. My repertoire spans a wide range of genres, including pop, soul, jazz, electronic & dance music, allowing me to adapt well to different audiences and expectations.
