I am a Bass Player who is capable and willing to join bands for dep/session work. I have the ability to pick up new songs at early notice or even on the night if a chord chart is available (I can make one myself if needed).
I have over 4 years of live band karaoke, we do not have a setlist, we pick up songs on request and I will use a chord chart to play along to the song whilst also conducting the rest of band if needed.
I have over 7 years of session work to my name. I have recorded on albums for bands in the UK and Internationally as well as playing live for the bands I have sessione ... d for.
I am available for tours, cruises, remote recording (as I have a home studio), in studio recording and of course dep work for gigs at any level.

2008-2012 - Original band work with You And What Army. Toured the UK, released many EP's. Festival appearances at Download, Sonisphere, T in the Park as well as being a hired band for Red Bull Music where we played many events hosted by the brand.
2012-2019 - My own function band called Bouncing Betty. 4 piece party band hire for Weddings, Corporate events, Parties and Pubs/Clubs. Hired to play internationally in Austria for corporate events in 2017 & 18.

Meet the Act

First of all, I love music and I love what I do. If I find myself working with people who love doing what they do as much as me then we can be friends for life.
I started playing guitar at 5 - playing along to nursery rhymes but seriously picked up the guitar and took lessons from age 12. Until I was 18, I was a dedicated guitarist - I wanted to be the next John Petrucci (Dream Theater) so bad!
However, I attended Coventry University between 2007-2009 and picked up the bass in my second year after passing my first year with 1st as a guitarist. This is where I really fell in love with ' ... playing'. Picking up the bass unlocked a whole new level of love for music - discovering players such as Pino Palladino, Louis Johnson, Sean Hurley, Jon Button, Tony Levin and many more. I learned to enjoy the 'less is more' theory but still also enjoyed the crazy time signature changes and wild riffs that progressive music can accommodate to.
My motto when it comes to music is 'I JUST WANT TO PLAY'. This motto has opened so many avenues for me, rather than wanting to stick myself into one little box, I want to be a part of many! I just love playing and to be able to find more work as a musician will complete my life wholly. Read More

I have previously been checked for DB, CRB, SC and more for my previous roles in teaching and full time work in the technology sector.
I am completely willing to go through these checks again if required.

I have a full recording setup at home for both guitar and bass. Having access to high end equipment, I am able to record singles, albums and more remotely from home and send complete or single audio tracks to anyone in the world.
