ABOUT JANILEIGH
“Janileigh is a star in the old fashioned sense of the word. It’s in her blood. No one made her who she is, her soulful melancholy is entirely home grown and her beauty entirely her own. She comes straight from her heart and stole mine as soon as I heard her sing. She evokes Janis Ian sometimes or maybe even Joni Mitchell but she is born of her own inspiration and I cannot wait to see where she takes her vision.”

Her influences are very much from the heyday of contemporary folk including such greats as John Martyn, Joni Mitchell, Jackson C Frank, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. ABOUT LUCAS
Lucas Bernard (born in 1995 in Nimes, South of France) is a singer/songwriter based in Manchester, UK.
Originally from France, Lucas eventually decided to move over to the city of Manchester at the age of 17 after his examinations, though successful, in order to carry on his musical dreams.
In 2010, he started playing within his first band, JELA with which he played over 500 gigs over Europe, developing a huge repertoire of songs and stage presence (more info about JELA on https://www.facebook.com/jelaofficiel). In parallel to the band, he also developed his own acoustic style. He eventually decided at the end of 2017 to leave JELA to broaden his songwriting and experiences.
MEETING OF THEM BOTH
Lucas met Janileigh on the Manchester music scene. Sharing a passion for busking, they started playing together and found out they had a lot of songs and influences in common. They developed a friendship playing and traveling together and have decided to team up as a duo to play on cruise ships.
