Physical Characteristics
Meet the Act
I’ve always been an active and adventurous person, growing up participating in a wide variety of sports, including swimming, skating, rock climbing, cross-country, wrestling, and karate. I’ve always loved to challenge myself — pushing myself both physically and challenging myself academically.
I discovered circus arts as a child through my closest friend, and instantly fell in love with aerials. Aerial silks, however, did not come easily to me. Through years of persistence, dedication, and countless hours of practice, I have specialized in silks while also training and performing on a
... variety of other apparatuses. As an adult, aerial arts benefited me more than just physically—it became a vital part of my mental well-being. Having faced personal challenges and periods of poor mental health, I found aerials to be a safe space for self-expression and stress management. Movement and creativity continue to be essential for my mental and physical health.
In addition to aerial arts, I am deeply passionate about psychology and neuroscience. I studied psychology as a university student, and have applied my knowledge for personal growth and self-help. I additionally apply this passion professionally as an early childhood educator, working closely with children as a preschool teacher and an aide, supporting young children with disabilities.
