Biography

Liné Koen has been involved in the arts for over eighteen years. She studied a four-year Bachelor of Music degree at Stellenbosch University, specialising in Voice and Musicology, graduating in 2018. In early July 2018, she found herself in the top 24 of Coleske Artist's South African singing competition "Die Kontrak," coming to the top 8 under the South African artist and "Die Kontrak" judge, Elvis Blue. Later that month she received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts USA to further her BMus studies. After much deliberation, she applied and was accepted ... to the award-winning LAMTA (Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy) at Theatre on the Bay, Cape Town, South Africa, where she trained in singing, acting and dancing under the pedagogy of numerous national and international legends.
