Biography

With a career spanning several years, Jo Caesar has garnered invaluable industry experience, forming an extensive network and a strong professional reputation. Her passion, versatility, and unwavering dedication to the art of music make her an exceptional resource for anyone seeking a well-rounded and accomplished singer/songwriter in the entertainment industry.
*At the tender age of 9, Jo had already recorded her first song, and by 19 she was a well-seasoned studio session singer. Soul II Souls' Caron Wheeler provided backing vocals on Jo Caesar's rendition of Anita Baker's hit 'Sometimes ... produced by Jazzie B in 1999 and it was her first official single release (double A-side) under her own independent label 'Soundbox music.
*An award-winning artist, in 2015 her talents were truly recognised when she entered into a competition looking for the next Reggae star factor and won it. She released her 2nd single and began recieving bookings for festivals and intimate events. Although she is known for reggae, her undertones are very soulful. Artist that inspired Jo Caesar growing up were; Melba moore, Freddie Jackson, The Carpenters, Patsy Cline and more. Not only is Jo a vocalist, but she is also an aspiring actor and a creative designer. Her talents are limitless.

Speaking of vocals, I always knew Jo Caesar could sing (in fact she is award-winning), what I didn’t know is that she can act. Her monologue was so good, I forgot she was acting!
