My entertainment experience has run the gamut of accompanying music school students of all ages in recital, directing musical theatre, opera, and oratorio and of course my virtual shows online during the COVID19 shutdown. Covid is truly where my cabaret singer/pianist persona was birthed and in a way I am grateful for the opportunity it gave me to pause, re-evaluate my gifts, and turn on what had been silent and hidden behind the classical musician facade. There is no turning back though...John Austin Clark has a trousseau of flashy dinner jackets, knows how to work a microphone, and leaves pa ... trons dancing and laughing wanting the night to never end.
My previous clients have included folks in need of a cocktail/dinner pianist at private homes, restaurants, and country clubs. I have been hired to curate fun gameshow nights at bars with my favorite "Name That Tune" with live piano music as I host and navigate the different groups competing. I curate wedding music for ceremonies and receptions. My background in classical music lends itself perfect for somber reverent settings, and my zest for the theatrical is a perfect compliment to parties. I do Christmas with plenty of ho, ho, ho and can send your lover over the moon for V Day. I add just ... the right sugar and spice. Isn't that nice?

Meet the Act
Yes, I can sing; yes, I can play...but what draws a crowd is my ability to work a mic, tie together music into a story, and pour all of myself into my work through humor and transparent candor.
Virtual Services Offer
I offer virtual telegrams sent via phone or email. This service began during the Covid-19 shutdown. Clients can request a song to be sung/played and sent to their loved one(s). Often birthday greetings, though I also send messages of hope and love to friends and family spreading a little light during a dark time.
