I perform solo acoustic classic songs. Generally, my genre is Americana which includes music from Artists like Crosby, Stills and Nash, Neil Young, The Byrds, Bruce Springsteen, The Grateful Dead, Tom Petty, John Prine and many others. Since I don't limit myself to American artist, my song selections include Elton John, The Beatles, The Kinks, David Bowie, U2 and more.
My style is great for happy hour, parties, and indoor and outdoor events where guests can relax and enjoy the tunes or sing along if they prefer.

... proximately 50 people at a restaurant. Guests mingled while I played. Some requested a song or two. Some even sang a few songs as part of the fun!
I also perform at events such as the Somerset County 4H Fair and the Scotch Plains Farmers Market. Occasionally I also perform with my band called The River Road Band.
I provide my own sound equipment including amps and PA for vocals.

John performed a wide variety of music. He was able to get the audience involved. It was a smaller venue with a difficult acoustics and John did a great job overcoming that. Would definitely recommend him and will have him back at our winery!

We hired John to play for a BBQ with over 200 friends and family and could not be more pleased. There was great communication with John planning the event and he was extremely accommodating and pleasant to deal with during the event. John had a large song list to choose from. The music was great and many of our guests grabbed a mic and sang along. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely recommend him!
