A lifelong musician, Kafi Kareem grew up in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The singer/songwriter touched stages across the island in her youth before taking her talent to the international stage, touring Europe twice and performing in both the U.S. and Argentina as a member of choirs and steel orchestras. After a 16-year-hiatus from music, Kafi birthed her solo recording artist career with the release of 2K, a two-track EP produced in collaboration with Trini dancehall beat makers Darius868 and Ghost868 of Forever Music Records.
