Biography

Rose Cleamons, known professionally as KatoRose, is an American singer-songwriter. A classically trained vocalist that started composing songs when she was 12 years old, Kato is a Pop Soul artist, and her performance style emulates trailblazers such as Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, and Etta James.
Kato’s songwriting style includes an array of musical genres from country to musical theater. Kato is currently working on her upcoming single ‘Drunk’, a Country-pop song. Make sure you sign up for Kato's mailing list so you can tune in with her new releases.

songwriter from Manhattan Beach, California. Her music career has exemplified excellence
across multiple platforms in the entertainment. Her sound has been likened to-Spencer Sutherland, Jessie J., and Corrine Bailey Rae. Kato Rose is known for her showmanship and LIVE concert performances in the California South Bay. She is currently working on the release of her first Single, which will debut in December 2025.

She attributes her discipline to the rigor of Miss Wendy's Amazing Grace Conservatory and Notre Dame Academy Girls High School in Los Angeles. She trained as a classical vocalist at the Rome School of Music Conservatory at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. before transferring to Los Angeles College of Music to pursue her degree in Songwriting. A native Californian from the South Bay; Kato Rose has performed for the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair and the South Bay Women’s Conference. She appeared the PBS show “Legacy List” (season 3 episode 5) and the OWN Network show, “Fix My Choir,”singing with the Hermosa Beach Coast Music Conservatory Gospel Choir.
