Meet the Act

My name is Kevin, I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Shanghai, China. I first began taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and fell in love with it quickly. I started performing as a teenager in and out of middle school, and was certain around that time that music would be a big part of my future. At 18 years old, I came to Boston to study performance and composition at Berklee College of Music, exposing me to a great deal of musical styles and opportunities to perform, compose, record, and collaborate. Online piano lessons

I had experience as a teacher since I was in high school, and am happy to provide piano lessons to online clients. I teach in a very hands-on style by using repertoire of interest to the student to advance their playing and knowledge of music. I can teach in a variety of styles, including Classical, jazz, pop, R&B, and blues, and am also willing to teach composition to the student should they be interested.

Remote session work

I am able to record piano and/or keyboard parts for anyone's project remotely using my equipment. I have a great deal of experience recording for other people, including on albums and EPs as a session pianist.
