I have a a crazy sense of style and expression and a mean impression of artists, especially dating back to the 60s,70s and so on. I can also perform different style of music for different audiences and events from Reggae, RnB, Neo Soul, Pop, Funk, Garage and Soul. Biography

Keyilah is a 26 year old singer/songwriter from London/Essex. Expressive and confident she began her journey entertaining her family and friends at regular festive holidays and events. Going through a difficult period both at home and school, Keyilah discovered her devoted love and attention was held on by music and performing. Young Keyilah turned to music and performance to express and relieve herself from stress and the outside worries. She began to come to terms of what she liked to call “A confidence boost”, the love and drive she enforced in her early years began to grow and bloom, s ... he believed to never give 50% but the whole 100.
She began developing her profound talent when she moved to London, which gave her numerous opportunities including performances,(Jazz Cafe, Barfly, Stratford Circus)college offers and partaking in masterclasses. Animated and vibrant, she began to offer her services to develop her talent and gain experience, performing as a backing vocalist, featured on student E.P Projects and music video projects. Over the years Keyilah developed a sense of taste and a preferred music genre, she started seeking out artists, style and the context of funk.Optimistic and brave, she performed at several venues such as: Jazz Cafe, Stratford Circus, Barfly,Raw Talent show as a nominee for an Arts Award and others. She recently was on the TV Show, The Voice and got through to the Blind Auditions and live TV.
Her powerful, soulful and rhythmic sound is heavily influenced by the 60s, 70s and 80’s era. She religiously listened to legendary artists: Tina Turner, Michael Jackson,Chaka Khan, James Brown and many more.
