Biography

Kitty Brucknell, who wowed 14.8million viewers as a finalist on the eighth season of the X-Factor, captivated the audiences and judges alike with her soaring vocals and outlandish theatrical performances. During the show, Kitty not only found a fan in eccentric pop queen Lady Gaga, she also received messages of support from Kylie Minogue, Brian May and Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who even invited her to his 36th birthday bash.
Since the X-Factor, Kitty has embarked on several critically acclaimed international tours in Egypt, Asia and Europe, headlined at multiple festivals across the U ... K and abroad, and released a series of underground recordings including ‘Chains’ which not only attracted attention from the likes of Queen’s Brian May, who also tweeted the track as his ‘Hot tip of the week.’ She then released a club track in Germany entitled “No Tomorrow”, with a stunning video that showcases her unique style. Building up a strong and dedicated fanbase to rival many established artists, Kitty is much more than just a performer. She writes and co-produces many of her songs, as well as having full input on her live shows, from designing video visuals, choreography, costumes, and live remixes.
October 2014 saw the return of Kitty with her debut single ‘Glitter In The Sky’ taken from her forthcoming album ‘Glamour & Damage,’ This sing along quirky, indie/pop song, saw her jumping out of a plane at 15,000ft for her music video, and got #9 chart placing in the UK indie charts.
She has built up an amazing and loyal fanbase who call themselves Kitty Divas, and has an online following of over 140,000 from around the world. She hopes to send the message that “It doesn’t matter where you are from, who you are, anyone can be a Kitty Diva, you just have to believe in yourself and love individuality”.
She reached the Semi-Finals at EUROVISION MOLDOVA 2015 with her disco-tastic anthem Remix which has already garnered a huge amount of online publicity and gained massive support across Europe.
She is currently recording a Broadway album which will include performances with a full symphony orchestra recorded at the world famous Abbey Road Studios to be released in 2016.
