When you sit down comfortably with your drink and start listening to the duo, you feel immediately charmed by Laura’s delicate voice and Rémi’s smooth and jazzy piano chords. And after enjoying a couple of songs, you’ll feel even better when Laura is picking up her violin to entertain you with a beautiful pop song, or when Rémi is playing a nice old song with his clarinet.
Both musicians met in 2012 in Paris where they were finishing their degrees in mu ... sical interpretation. Since then, they have never stopped exploring music together, playing along in cruise ships, hotels, festivals and musicals venues across the world.

Biography

Laura Gaya, singer, violinist and pianist
Multifaceted artist, she has a long stage career as a modern singer and classical violinist: Palau de la Música Catalana as a soloist, Big Bang Beethoven show, duo at the Credomatic Festival of Costa Rica, member of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, Pianobar events, presentation of two own albums at CaixaForum in Barcelona. She has been interviewed or reviewed in media outlets such as El Periódico, Diari Ara, Catalunya Ràdio. She has been awarded for
excellence by Becas La Caixa, Becas Mutua Madrileña, Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe. She gradu ... ated in Musical Performance from the Higher School of Music of Catalonia, she has a master's degree in Musicology from the Sorbonne University of Paris. She trained in Complete Vocal Technique in Barcelona and in jazz at the Center de Musiques
Didier Lockwood in Melun France, in Musical Theater in Eòlia Barcelona.
Rémi Meurice, pianist and clarinetist
Clarinetist, pianist, saxophonist and composer originally from France, settled in Catalonia in 2015. A versatile musician, he has collaborated with international artists on stages, studios and festivals such as 5O5 Sydney Australia, Sunset / Sunside in Paris, Festival Scofinando Italia, Auditori de Barcelona. He has participated in the recording of albums such as Gerry López "Fro Trio", Jonas Santana "Ritmos y Poesía". You can hear him in tango shows, Brazilian music shows, musicals, funk groups, and all styles of jazz. He is also the leader of his own groups and we can highlight the recording of the first album "Rencontre" with his jazz quartet in 2017, which contains 10 of his own compositions. He is also a graduate of the Liceu Conservatory of Barcelona and the Conservatoire National Supérieur of Paris. In 2018 he was a house poly instrumentalist in the Princess Cruise Line Ships.
