Biography

Lily Vásquez is a singer from Sonora, Mexico, and a graduate of the University of Sonora. She
trained in operatic voice and further specialized in jazz and blues at Berklee College of Music,
complementing her education through masterclasses with artists such as Alejandro Sanz, Noel
Schajris, and Pau Donés. She has also performed in gospel, jazz, film, and video game choirs.
Her versatility allows her to perform genres ranging from opera to jazz, soul, blues, rock, and pop.
She was a semifinalist in the Francisco Araiza International Opera Competition, where she also
received coaching f ... rom Francisco Araiza. She has performed on prestigious stages such as Boston
Symphony Hall, Fenway Park, Pepsi Center WTC, Auditorio La Isla, and Showcenter Complex
Monterrey. She has opened for Concha Buika and shared the stage with Zac Brown Band and
Steven Tyler.
She has performed with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Sonora at the Teatro de la Ciudad and
appeared in festivals such as Fiestas del Pitic and Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado, where she
presented her show A Cabaret Heart in its 2026 edition.
Internationally, she worked as a jazz vocalist for Celebrity Cruises, performing across destinations
including Canada, Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Australia, Singapore,
Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
Currently, Lily Vásquez remains active as a performer and vocal coach. She is part of the Marrano
Rosa tribute production to Pink Floyd, with performances in major venues such as Arena Ciudad
de México, Arena Monterrey, and Arena Guadalajara. She is also developing her original music
