I hired Private Affair Band for my 40th clean, & Sober Birthday Celebration! From my first conversation with Robert Rivers, and his wife Angie I knew I was in good hands! The day of the event went off with out a hitch! It was amazing every single musician not to mention the lead singer were incredible??We couldn’t have asked for any better! Working with Nika on "Ghosts of the Past" was genuinely one of the highlights of this project. From the very first take it was clear she wasn't just going to deliver vocals — she was going to make the track her own, and she absolutely did. The lead performance has real soul and presence, exactly what the song needed.
What really stood out though was what she brought to the backing vocals. I gave her some direction and she went so far beyond it that I honestly had to step back and just appreciate it. That kind of creative initiative is rare and it made a meaningful difference to the final sound.
The recordings were great quality, zero drama. Just a total professional who also happens to be a really creative collaborator. Would work with her again in a heartbeat.
